Grain Plant Operator - Contract

Role Overview The Grain Plant Operator supports seasonal grain handling operations by loading, unloading, storing, and moving bulk commodities within the facility. Responsibilities include operating equipment, performing inspections, and assisting with basic maintenance to ensure safe and efficient grain flow in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Safety, teamwork, and reliability are essential. Key Duties Operate equipment for loading/unloading trucks, vessels, barges, and railcars, and manage grain ground piles.Perform basic maintenance and care of equipment to maintain facility operations.Provide excellent customer service and collaborate with team members.Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.Perform additional duties as assigned, including working overtime, weekends, and holidays. Qualifications & Skills Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship and be at least 18 years old.Ability to communicate in English (verbal and written).Basic computer skills.Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures, lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing, bending, and twisting, while wearing PPE. Preferred Experience: Prior production work experience is advantageous.
