Grain Plant Operator

About the role

This position is in our Ag & Trading enterprise, where you will perform facility operations, provide customer service, and maintain a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform facility operations such as receiving and shipping products (fertilizer, chemicals, seed, and grain)
• Basic maintenance and operator care of equipment to ensure ongoing facility operations
• Provide excellent customer service and engage with team members
• Understand and adhere to all safety rules and regulations
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to perform physical job duties, including bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, and twisting (with or without reasonable accommodation)
• Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
• Basic use of a computer
• Ability to work in various weather, industrial, and agricultural settings
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays with advance notice

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude

Pay

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
