Grain Elevator Operator - 2nd Shift

Schedule

• 2nd shift, 2pm to 12midnight, Monday through Thursday
• Overtime as needed, including weekends

Compensation

• $23.00/hr and up
• Overtime pays 1.5x your hourly rate

What You'll Be Doing

• Grain receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending, and loading of grain
• Monitoring stored grain condition
• Maintaining and cleaning grain facilities and equipment to provide a safe environment
• Cross-trained to perform a variety of tasks

Equipment & Materials

• Various grain handling equipment, mainly conveyors and legs
• Bulk commodities: wheat, corn, soybeans, and other grains

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation
• Must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English (for safety reasons)
• Available to work overtime and weekends
• Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
• Able to pass a criminal background check

Physical Requirements

• This job can be physically strenuous
• Ability to work in tight and confined spaces
• Ability to work at heights
• Ability to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more
• Ability to ascend/descend ladders
• Required to wear PPE
