Grain Elevator Employee

Primary Duties

• Receive, ship, handle and monitor grain, plus perform preventative maintenance and housekeeping as necessary
• Receive, locate, and transfer materials accurately and in a timely manner
• Load and unload materials onto and from a variety of containers including but not limited to trucks, conveyors, racks, pallets, and/or trays; utilize appropriate tools to accomplish task
• Transport incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools/vehicles to accomplish task
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment
• Participate in quality improvement efforts
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications

• Good communication skills
• Able to follow directions
• Self-motivated and able to complete tasks without constant direction

Employment is contingent upon passing pre-employment drug test and background check.
