Grain Elevator Employee

Responsibilities

• Receive, ship, handle, and monitor grain.
• Perform preventative maintenance and housekeeping as necessary.
• Receive, locate, and transfer materials accurately and in a timely manner.
• Load and unload materials onto and from trucks, conveyors, racks, pallets, and/or trays using appropriate tools.
• Transport incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas using appropriate tools or vehicles.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment.
• Participate in quality improvement efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Requirements

• Good communication skills.
• Able to follow directions.
• Self-motivated and able to complete tasks without constant direction.
