About the role
The Graduation Coach is responsible for supporting students in achieving their academic goals and preparing for college and career readiness.
Responsibilities
- Supporting students in setting and achieving academic goals
- Collaborating with teachers to develop interventions for at-risk students
- Assessing student progress and providing feedback to both students and teachers
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve graduation rates
- Mentoring students and families on college and career planning
- Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance coaching skills
Requirements
- A Master's degree in education, counseling, or a related field
- Experience working with high school students and families
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of state and federal policies related to education and student achievement
Qualifications
- Experience with data analysis and reporting
- Knowledge of college and career readiness initiatives
- Experience with technology integration in education
