Graduate Therapist Intern – Outpatient Mental Health Clinic

Description

The Graduate Therapist Intern for the Outpatient Mental Health Clinics is responsible for providing individual, family, and/or group therapy while supervised by an appropriately licensed supervisor. Services may be provided in community clinics, schools, or other partnership locations both in person and via telehealth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings
• Serve as a liaison between the clinic and school / partnership program if applicable
• Provide case management for assigned caseload
• Successfully utilize the electronic medical record
• Complete all required documentation on time

Requirements

• Flexible, creative, self-driven, and eager to learn and practice
• Flexible schedule, typically 2-3 full days per week, Monday-Friday
• Compassionate and recognizes the diverse lived experiences of those served

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
• Passing score on the Praxis II exam for School Counseling or a comparable exam
• Completion of an approved practicum or internship program
