About the role
Wilshire at Lakewood Care Center is a skilled nursing community dedicated to clinical excellence and compassionate care for our residents. We are hiring Graduate Practical Nurses (GPNs) who are eager to join a supportive, mission-driven healthcare team. New graduates are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to residents as assigned
- Administer and record medications and treatments
- Assist physicians with procedures and treatments
- Educate and support residents and their families
- Participate in care planning and evaluation with the healthcare team
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions
- Document observations and care provided
- Ensure a safe, comfortable environment
- May assist with unit management or serve as charge nurse
Requirements
- Completion of a Practical Nursing program
- Eligibility for Missouri licensure
