Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to residents as assigned
- Administer and record medications/treatments
- Auxiliary physicians with procedures and treatments
- Education and support for residents and their families
- Participation in care planning and evaluation with the healthcare team
- Auxiliary with admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions
- Documentation of observations and care provided
- Ensuring a safe, comfortable environment
- Auxiliary with unit management or serving as charge nurse
Requirements
- GPNs: Completion of a Practical Nursing program and eligibility for Missouri licensure
