About the role

The Graduate Nurse provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within established nursing standards. This role requires completing a nursing program and obtaining licensure within 90 days of graduation to maintain employment in Missouri.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families on managing illnesses, post-treatment care, and medications.
• Use critical thinking to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans collaboratively, promoting patient-centered care.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Participate in activities ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with professional development.
• Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safety at all times.

Qualifications

Minimum: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing.

Preferred: Additional qualifications or experience related to nursing roles.
