About the role

This position performs a range of patient care assignments within the secure perimeter of MDOC facilities under the guidance and direct oversight of a licensed Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Education: Possession of a diploma, associate's, bachelor's, or master's degree in nursing accepted for licensure by the Michigan Board of Nursing
• Experience: No specific type or amount is required

Qualifications

• Must have obtained RN license within six (6) months of hire
• Must provide verification of licensure within six (6) months of hire

Schedule

• All shifts: Days, Afternoons, Midnights, Weekends

Pay

• Competitive Salaries
• Shift Differential Pay and/or Prison Pay of $0.40 to $0.50 per hour
• $5,000 signing payment after successfully reclassifying to licensed RN
