Graduate Nurse Resident - ICU

About the role

Seeking a Graduate Nurse Resident in the ICU department, responsible for utilizing the nursing process to deliver patient-centered care, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality, and evaluating the care provided by others. The role involves coordinating care with various departments and maintaining professional accountability in line with organizational standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process
• Maintain confidentiality and patient rights
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure quality care
• Evaluate the effectiveness of caregiving staff

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN)
• Current RN licensure in the state or a compact license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or successful completion within 30 days of hire
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform various physical movements

Qualifications

• Preferred 1 year RN experience
