About the Role

This position is for a new graduate RN participating in a structured, one-year residency program aimed at supporting newly licensed nurses transitioning into professional practice.

Responsibilities

  • Complete comprehensive department orientations and hands-on clinical training.
  • Collaborate with experienced preceptors and participate in targeted educational sessions.
  • Develop critical thinking, clinical judgment, and professional growth in various departments including Cardiac, ICU, ED, Labor & Delivery, NICU, Oncology, and more.

Requirements

  • Less than 12 months of nursing experience.
  • Nursing degree from an accredited school.
  • Valid Arkansas temporary or compact nursing license.
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.

Key Duties

  • Engage actively in mentorship and training to ensure smooth transition into independent nursing practice.
