Graduate Nurse - Multiple Opportunities, St. Vincent
About the role
At AHN St. Vincent Hospital, we are seeking RN graduates to join our dynamic team. Graduates can start with either a Graduate Nurse Temporary Practice Permit (GN TPP) or a Registered Nurse (RN) license. As part of our program, all Graduate Nurses are automatically enrolled into our Nurse Residency Program (NRP).
Responsibilities
- Utilizes the nursing process in providing and coordinating the plan of patient care for the age appropriate population.
- Initiates interdisciplinary plan of care based on assessment findings and physician orders for the age appropriate population.
- Completes patient documentation in a comprehensive manner and promotes communication between caregivers.
- Contributes to Division, Hospital, and Department goals.
- Provides detailed and appropriate teaching to patients and families to effectively guide them through the episode of care as well as transition to another level of care and/or home.
- Collaborates and supports the development of students, new staff and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Minimum Temporary Practice Permit
- CPR – American Heart Association
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
