Graduate Nurse - Mercy Lebanon, Full Time

About the Role

Performs direct patient care activities for all age groups to include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort. Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with the established guidelines of nursing practice, the goals of Mercy Health System, the Philosophy of the Sisters of Mercy, the Respective State Nurse Practice Act, the Code of Professional and Business Ethics, and the Co-Worker Code of Conduct. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with Mercy's mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

• Adhere to nursing practice guidelines, Mercy Health System goals, and professional standards.

Requirements

• Graduated from an approved or accredited school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Must be eligible to take the board of nursing exam.
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or completion of a course within the probation period.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk most of the time on duty.
• Meet unit-specific physical demands, including significant bending, stooping, lifting, and turning patients with assistance.
• High risk of exposure to blood and body fluids.
• Push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs.; pinch up to 15 lbs.
• Minimal kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
• May be required to work varying schedules, shifts, or days of the week based on patient care requirements.
