Job Summary

The role is for a pre-licensed nurse participating in the SSM Health New Graduate Nurse Residency Program. Responsibilities include providing care under RN supervision, patient assessments, developing and implementing education plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

• Performs delegated tasks based on competence.
• Performs patient assessments and develops comprehensive education plans.
• Documents accurately and completes evaluations.
• Maintains patient care quality by monitoring and evaluating team performance.
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Participates in training and demonstrates professional nursing standards.
• Ensures safety and alertness during shifts.
• Completes required competencies and training satisfactorily.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Eligible to practice as determined by the State Board of Nursing.
• No prior experience required.
• Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license within 3 months of NCLEX pass date in Illinois.
• Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from AHA.
• Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from AHA.
• WI Nursing Temporary Permit in Wisconsin.
