Graduate Nurse - Full Time

About the role

The role involves providing direct patient care across all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans. It requires coordinating with ancillary departments to enhance patient comfort and outcomes. Practices within the scope of nursing, adhering to established guidelines, ethical standards, and institutional values. Responsibilities include ensuring safety, performing patient care duties, and maintaining compliance with professional and legal standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and deliver care in various departments such as Emergency, Med/Surg, ICU, Labor & Delivery, and Operating Room.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient treatment and comfort.
• Adhere to nursing practice acts, institutional policies, and ethical codes.
• Participate in maintaining a safe and effective care environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).
• Eligibility to take the nursing licensure exam.
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider certification or willingness to complete it.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and assist patients, with exposure to blood and body fluids.
• Ability to work various shifts and meet physical demands of the position.
