About the role

Altheda Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated graduate student to join as a Graduate Healthcare Management Consulting Intern. This internship is designed for current MBA, MHA, MPH, MPA, MS, MSBA, healthcare administration, public health, data analytics, operations, technology, or other master’s-level students with a deep interest in healthcare, business strategy, operations, growth, and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Support assigned business, operational, growth, and innovation projects.
  • Conduct research using approved sources and project-specific information.
  • Help define problems, organize findings, and develop practical recommendations.
  • Create project deliverables such as memos, trackers, checklists, slides, workflow maps, patient-facing materials, training tools, implementation plans, and executive summaries.
  • Participate in project meetings and progress check-ins.
  • Communicate clearly with Altheda leadership and team members.
  • Help move approved projects from idea to execution.
  • Organize ambiguous problems into structured project plans.
  • Support implementation by creating tools, templates, trackers, and written materials.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, reliability, and strong judgment.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a master’s degree program.
  • Strong undergraduate and graduate academic performance.
  • Minimum 3.8 GPA preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Interest in healthcare, business, consulting, operations, growth, technology, public health, or entrepreneurship.
  • Professionalism, reliability, and strong attention to detail.
