Your Role

• Training to become a qualified Teacher of English
• Supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4 in English Language and Literature
• Delivering engaging lessons that develop reading, writing and communication skills
• Working alongside experienced teachers to develop excellent classroom practice
• Planning and delivering small-group interventions to raise attainment
• Assisting with lesson planning, assessment and curriculum delivery
• Building strong relationships with pupils to support both academic achievement and personal development

About You

• Applications are welcomed from graduates who have:
• A First-Class or 2:1 degree in English, English Literature, English Language or a closely related subject
• Strong GCSE and A-Level academic qualifications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine passion for education and inspiring young people

• A long-term ambition to build a successful teaching career

Previous experience working with young people is beneficial but not essential, as full training and support will be provided.
