Your Role
- Training to become a qualified Teacher of English
- Supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4 in English Language and Literature
- Delivering engaging lessons that develop reading, writing and communication skills
- Working alongside experienced teachers to develop excellent classroom practice
- Planning and delivering small-group interventions to raise attainment
- Assisting with lesson planning, assessment and curriculum delivery
- Building strong relationships with pupils to support both academic achievement and personal development
About You
- Applications are welcomed from graduates who have:
- A First-Class or 2:1 degree in English, English Literature, English Language or a closely related subject
- Strong GCSE and A-Level academic qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for education and inspiring young people
- Confidence, resilience and a positive attitude towards learning
- A long-term ambition to build a successful teaching career
The right to work in the UK
Previous experience working with young people is beneficial but not essential, as full training and support will be provided.
