Graduate Engineer, Municipal

Responsibilities
- Play a role in project design and coordination
- Collaborate with other groups/disciplines within the company to deliver top-quality projects and unparalleled service to our clients
- Perform design calculations, cost estimates, and plan preparation
- Compile, write, and edit quality technical reports, feasibility reports, letters, memos, and specifications for Municipal projects
- Plan, direct, and coordinate project activities to ensure projects are delivered within prescribed time frames and budgets
- Opportunity to lead multiple work teams, manage projects, identify new projects, formulate project approaches, assist with the proposal process, track and meet project budgets and schedules, and market to secure work from new and existing clients
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a similar degree from an accredited school
- Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) is required at the time of hire or within six (6) months
- Experience in Municipal engineering or a related field is preferred
- Ability to prepare, read, and understand construction plans and technical documents
- Functional understanding of design software packages, specifically AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic
