Graduate Engineer- Civil Engineer

About the role

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering research and calculations, hydraulics and hydrology modeling, storm water collection systems modeling, data collection, assimilation, and presentations.
• Produce design calculations, draft technical reports, and perform water resources studies.
• Provide engineering design and construction services and field support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, standard CAD platforms such as MicroStation, Geopak, and hydraulic modeling software.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to convey information effectively, understand ideas and information presented in writing and verbally, including presentations.
• Strong data analysis skills, technical problem-solving ability, organizational skills, and multitasking ability.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of task.
• Engineer In Training (EIT) certified.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering or related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Educational or internship experience within collection systems, water, and wastewater design.

• Work environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.
• Personal Protective Equipment: None required in the office.
