Graduate Engineer

TOBIN, an AtkinsRéalis Company is seeking a Graduate Engineer to join our Water & Utilities division in Castlebar, Limerick, or Galway. This full-time role is open to both experienced professionals and recent graduates, offering the opportunity to work on diverse projects and develop skills through mentoring from senior team members. As part of AtkinsRéalis, you’ll join a world-leading engineering and project management company.

Requirements

• Minimum NCEA Certificate in Civil Engineering, Construction Studies, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role.

Responsibilities

• Drafting using software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, REVIT, ArcGIS, and SketchUp.
• Conducting topographical surveys using calibrated instruments such as GPS units and Total Stations.
• Producing detailed design drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and REVIT.
• Checking drawings for accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Collaborating with clients and the design team to deliver high-quality projects.
• Maintaining disciplined record-keeping of drawings and files.
• Assisting engineers and technicians with detailing and sketching.
• Following instructions from your Line Manager and, where appropriate, Project Managers and senior team members.
