About the role
The Graduate Coordinator of the Residential Experience supports the Residential Experience Team, which includes both the University Housing team and the Office of Residence Life. This position is live on campus and requires an in-office presence.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the front desk operation and general administrative tasks for University Housing and Residence Life departments
- Manage the email account for the Housing Operations and Residence Life departments, responding promptly and accurately
- Handle key operations such as issuing and receiving keys for resident students and placing work orders for key requests
- Provide excellent customer service to visitors of the office
- Greet office visitors, direct inquiries appropriately, answer phones, and ensure requests for assistance are handled professionally and promptly
- Assist in addressing questions and resolving common problems for students, staff, families, and the public
- Collaborate with students to address their needs and implement individual and community solutions
Requirements
- A commitment to supporting the Catholic identity and inclusive community of the University
- A Bachelor's degree required
- Organized and efficient with the ability to multitask
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed
- Proactive and adaptable approach to challenges, fostering a positive and collaborative environment
- Strong organizational, written, verbal, and planning skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Workday
- Ability to maintain a professional yet friendly demeanor, especially under stress
- Experience working with diverse student populations
Salary/Pay
$10,000 salary, 12-month contract
Schedule
Part-time, with occasional evening and weekend responsibilities
