GRADUATE CIVIL ENGINEER-IN-TRAINING
The Role
The Graduate Civil Engineer-In-Training position at Hakanson Anderson offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of civil and municipal engineering projects, including county and local roads, public utilities, parks, and trails. Responsibilities include assisting engineers and project managers with various tasks such as calculations, drafting construction plans with AutoCAD, and performing field observations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certified or ability to obtain certification within one year of start date
- Experience with AutoCAD 3D drafting and/or GIS
- 0-4 years’ experience
- Ability to read and understand CAD standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
- Serve as a construction observer as needed
- Valid MN driver's license with an acceptable driving record
