Key Responsibilities
- Compile, organize, clean, and help analyze historical data on Villanova’s internal faculty research funding programs
- Create data tables, summaries, and reporting materials
- Document grant-related data capture and reporting processes to improve efficiency of annual data reporting
- Review, interpret, and track basic requirements for specified external funding opportunities and document processes to establish standard workflow
- Create and monitor funding opportunity postings and application forms in grant competition software (InfoReady)
- Other administrative operations as needed.
Requirements
- Current Villanova Master’s student
- Experience compiling, cleaning, and organizing data
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including using formulas, sorting/filtering, and basic analysis
- Ability to quickly understand and master new software platforms
- Strong organizational skills and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to deal discretely with confidential information
- Ability to work independently after training while following guidance and direction
Additional Information
Prefer candidates with an understanding of or interest in how a university organizes and manages its research enterprise. Should be a motivated worker dedicated to seeing tasks completed from start to finish.
