Southern Nazarene University is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a graduate assistant coach for the SNU Athletics Strength & Conditioning Program. The University is a member of the NCAA DII Great American Conference. The successful candidate will have a mature, growing relationship with Christ and some collegiate strength & conditioning experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Coach in providing leadership for the SNU Athletics Strength & Conditioning Program.
- Play an integral role in the day-to-day administrative responsibilities and player/team training plans.
- Work within SNU, GAC, and NCAA DII guidelines to provide student-athletes with an exceptional collegiate experience while competing for championships.
- Lead strength & conditioning training plans for a variety of sports.
- May be responsible for the coordination of work assignments for student employees.

- Understand and embrace the biblical principle that all people are created in the image of God and should be treated with dignity and respect, including a belief in equal opportunity to work, contribute, and flourish without discrimination.
- College undergraduate completion.
- Minimum of one to two years of related work experience and/or relevant training.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple demands in a fast-paced work environment.
- Typing and spelling competency.
- Experience with various computer software applications.
- Data entry experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Some direct strength & conditioning experience.
- Experience in higher education.
