About the role
The Graduate Assistant for the Office of Community Responsibility at Carnegie Mellon University will serve in a unique capacity to impact the ethical development of Carnegie Mellon University students. The Office of Community Responsibility (OCR) encourages each student to cultivate high ethical standards of conduct, congruent with the expectations of the Carnegie Mellon University community. Using a restorative lens, the Office of Community Responsibility facilitates learning through reflective, community-centered processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage follow-up for community standards complaints and academic integrity violations reported to the Office of Community Responsibility
- Coordinate workflow for academic and non-academic violations including documentation, tracking, and reporting
- Facilitate educational programs for the campus community
- Participate in departmental meetings as needed
- Oversee and review applicable policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- A bachelor’s degree preferred
- Enrolled in a Higher Education, Student Affairs, College Student Personnel or related graduate program for the 2026-2027 academic year
