Graduate Assistant (Labor) - Baseball
About the Role
This is a regular student labor position in which the selected candidate will assist the Head Baseball Coach with the coordination, guidance, direction, and supervision of the baseball program. Hours per week range from 5 to 25, and working nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.

- Monitoring student-athlete academic progress

- Administrative duties and travel
Enrollment Requirements
Fall/Spring Semesters: All student employees must be enrolled at least half-time to be eligible to work. Half-time enrollment is 5 hours for graduates and 6 hours for undergraduates. F1/J1 Visa students must be enrolled full-time (9 credit hours for graduates and 12 credit hours for undergraduates).
Summer Semester: To work during the summer, students must be enrolled in at least 3 summer credit hours or be enrolled in the upcoming fall semester in the minimum required credit hours. Students enrolled in fewer than 3 summer credit hours will be subject to FICA taxes. For Federal Work Study Program (FWSP) positions, students must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours (undergraduate) or 5 credit hours (graduate).
Note: New incoming students are not eligible for student employment until the semester they begin classes. If the number of credit hours needed to graduate is less than the minimum required, the student must provide a letter from their Academic Advisor to Human Resources.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- General knowledge of NCAA Division II rules and regulations
- Ability to perform all tasks appointed by the head coach
- Strong desire to learn

- Former collegiate or professional playing experience
