Graduate Assistant: Golf

Overview

DeSales University, a private, coeducational, four-year liberal arts Salesian, Catholic university, is located in Center Valley, PA. Founded in 1965, the 550-acre campus is 50 miles north of Philadelphia and 90 miles southwest of New York City. With a total enrollment of nearly 3,500, including undergraduate day and evening students and graduate students, DeSales has 135 full-time faculty members offering over 40 bachelor's degrees, twelve graduate programs, and over 20 certificate programs.

Position Summary

The Graduate Assistant Golf Coach will assist the head coach in practice, planning, game preparation, and recruiting responsibilities. This appointment is renewable for up to two years. Compensation includes full tuition remission, up to 18 credits per academic year, a stipend, housing (if available), and on-campus mail plan while undergraduate classes are in session. The appointment starts August 1, 2026.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and collegiate playing experience required
• Acceptance to a DeSales University graduate program required
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
• Goal Keeping experience is preferred, but not required
• Strong communication, interpersonal, & leadership skills preferred
• Sensitive to issues of ethnicity, disability and diversity
• Dedicated to the mission of a small, Catholic, liberal arts institution
