About the role

The Graduate Assistant Field Hockey position is designed to provide hands-on training and support to the field hockey team. Responsibilities include assisting with game preparation, player development, and team management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with game preparation and strategy sessions
• Support player development through individual and team practices
• Manage team logistics and travel arrangements
• Collaborate with coaches to enhance team performance

Requirements

Must be enrolled in a graduate program related to sports science, physical education, or a similar field. Previous experience as a varsity athlete or assistant coach is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Knowledge of field hockey rules and regulations
• Experience with player development and coaching techniques
• Basic knowledge of sports statistics and analysis
