Graduate Assistant - DPT Tutor Lubbock
About the role
A graduate student in an institution within the Texas Tech University System employed in support of a department or unit responsible for work assigned by the supervisor within the unit or department which utilizes knowledge beyond undergraduate academic studies.
Major/Essential Functions
- Actively engage with DPT (Doctor of Physical Therapy) students, asking questions that will facilitate their understanding, encourage study methods and provide constructive feedback.
- Manage tutoring appointments and communicate any schedule changes with all parties involved.
- Afford assistance with other tasks related to DPT program functions, faculty, or courses as assigned by the GA supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled in the graduate program of an institution within the Texas Tech University System.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2nd year DPT student.

Position Description
This position works part-time on an hourly basis. Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan.
