Graduate Assistant - Athletics

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in all facets of the program, including recruitment, practice organization and planning, game preparation, administrative duties, scouting, and monitoring of student-athlete academic progress.
• Available in Football, XC/Track & Field, Softball, Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, Athletic Communications, Men's Lacrosse, and Women's Wrestling programs.
• Must work nights and weekends and may require minimal travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Acceptance into a graduate program with Otterbein University or an on-line or low residency Graduate program with Antioch University: MBA, MSAH, MSAT, MAT, MAE, CMHC
• Ohio resident
• Valid driver license; must complete Otterbein Driving certification

• Previous participation and/or coaching experience in college athletics preferred

Pay

Full tuition waiver, stipend valued up to $6,000 (less applicable taxes), meal plan, and potential housing support available.

Schedule

This is a 10-month position starting Summer 2026, with a Spring semester 2027 start possible. The second year appointment is contingent upon successful completion of GA duties and responsibilities.
