Job Description Summary: Assistant Area Coordinators (AAC) assist in the supervision of a campus residence hall community. Responsibilities include supervision and staff development, overseeing a residential community, assisting Resident Advisors, implementing a residential curriculum, advising housing student leadership organizations, handling roommate mediations, serving as a hearing officer, assisting in campus-wide academic initiatives, planning and implementing community and campus initiatives, coordinating staff developmental efforts, maintaining office hours, managing student records, responding to crises, attending staff meetings, and creating building reports.
Qualifications
- Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience: One year in a residential setting is preferred. Must be able to perform all essential job duties as outlined in the job description.
