Graduate Assistant - 10 Positions Available

About the role

The department will assign you to various tasks that will require you to provide professional service to MU students, clients of a MU Clinic, or other individuals in need of professional services provided by the office.

Responsibilities

• Mentor for college students with ASD in academic, social, and independent living development areas.
• Time is spent directly supporting participating students as they navigate the college environment.
• Oversee evening study halls.
• Help assist in test proctoring.
• Plan and participate in various social activities throughout the semester.
• Regularly communicate and meet with students and staff Support Specialists.
• Attend any staff training that occurs during the semester.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and enrolled full time in a master’s program.
• Experience working with individuals diagnosed with ASD in a higher education setting preferred.
