JOB REQUIREMENTS
The Department of Educational Policy and Leadership is seeking a part-time adjunct instructor/lecturer to teach a hybrid section of EDPL 6720: Business Administration of Educational Organizations during the summer session 2 (7/6 - 8/15).
- Plan and teach weekly classes
- Evaluate student learning using appropriate assessment methods and College of Education program evaluation system
- Maintain and submit accurate and current records concerning student accountability, attendance, and performance
- Maintain a student-oriented approach to education
- Provide opportunities for individual consultation and feedback for students in the course
- Provide frequent communication with students on their progress in the course
- Hold oneself accountable to professional and ethical standards and adhere to University policies and procedures
OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Masters Degree preferred or substantial progress toward the terminal degree.
- Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- PhD highly preferred or Master’s degree and substantial experience in higher education.
- Excellent oral and written communication and proficiency.
- Knowledge of research methods and educational contexts.
