Graduate Adjunct Instructor

Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan and teach weekly classes
• Evaluate student learning using appropriate assessment methods and College of Education program evaluation system
• Maintain and submit accurate and current records concerning student accountability, attendance, and performance
• Maintain a student-oriented approach to education
• Provide opportunities for individual consultation and feedback for students in the course
• Provide frequent communication with students on their progress in the course
• Hold oneself accountable to uphold professional and ethical standards and adhere to University policies and procedures

Other Experience and Qualifications

• Required: Masters Degree
• Preferred: PhD or Master's degree and substantial experience in higher education
• Preferred: Excellent oral and written communication skills and proficiency in research methods and educational contexts
