About the role
Williams Civil Construction in Missoula, Montana is seeking an experienced and motivated Grading/Pipe Foreman to lead and manage field crews on various civil construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage and direct daily work of field crews
- Cookordinate schedules, equipment, and materials
- Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency on site
- Communicate with project managers and inspectors
Requirements
- Experience in heavy civil construction with strong equipment operation skills (excavators, loaders, dozers, backhoes)
- Experience as a foreman or crew lead on utility or grading projects, with a solid track record of managing production and crew performance
- Able to read and interpret blueprints, set grade using lasers/levels, and estimate material, tool, and equipment needs
- Strong leadership, communication, and safety-focused supervision skills in fast-paced field environments
- CDL preferred (or willing to obtain) and capable of performing light repairs and field adjustments to equipment as needed
