Grading Operator

Responsibilities
- Safely operate various pieces of equipment to achieve precise location and grading as outlined in the plans.
- Perform other duties as directed by the grading foreman.
- Adapt and perform additional tasks as needed.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in operating earth-moving equipment such as dozers and backhoes.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and safety standards.
- Keen attention to detail and situational awareness to maintain the safety of the work environment.
- Maintain constant alertness to the multiple concurrent activities of the construction site.
- Willingness to perform some manual labor as needed and directed by supervisor.
- Flexibility in working hours, teamwork, and self-motivation.
Skills
- Knowledge of proper operation of heavy equipment as well as safety standards.
- Keen attention to detail and situational awareness to maintain the safety of the work environment.
- Maintain constant alertness to the multiple concurrent activities of the construction site including the activities of other employees and contractors, the operation of stationary equipment and the movement of mobile equipment.

Pay
The pay for this role ranges from $18.00 to $27.00, providing competitive compensation for your hard work.
Schedule
Normal start time 6:30 am however flexible hours required.
Qualifications
- A valid driver's license or commercial driver license is preferred for this onsite role in Conover, NC.
