Grade 4 Science/Social Studies Teacher

About the role

The ideal candidate will be committed to creating an engaging and inclusive classroom where students can develop strong academic, social, and emotional skills. This role will complete a teaching team of 3 and will focus on science and social studies content for all 4th graders.

Responsibilities

• Create an inclusive and engaging learning environment for 4th grade students
• Teach science and social studies content aligned with Maine standards
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement effective lessons
• Evaluate student progress and provide feedback
• Support students' social and emotional development

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in education
• Maine State Certification
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
