Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lessons that are relevant, culturally responsive, and aligned with Maine Learning Standards.
• Foster meaningful connections with students to support their overall well-being and academic success.
• Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
• Use a variety of instructional strategies and assessments to meet diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues, counselors, and school staff to support student growth and development.
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.

Qualifications

• A valid Maine teaching certification in K-3 or K-8 (or ability to obtain).
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in education discipline applicable to teaching assignments.
• Successful prior teaching experience.
