Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lessons that are relevant, culturally responsive, and aligned with Maine Learning Standards.
- Foster meaningful connections with students to support their overall well-being and academic success.
- Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
- Use a variety of instructional strategies and assessments to meet diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues, counselors, and school staff to support student growth and development.
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
Qualifications
- A valid Maine teaching certification in K-3 or K-8 (or ability to obtain).
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in education discipline applicable to teaching assignments.
- Successful prior teaching experience.
