About the role

Mast Landing School, a grades 3-5 elementary school in Freeport, seeks a passionate 3rd grade teacher to join our collaborative learning community as a long-term substitute teacher from August 25th-December 1, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Teach 3rd grade curriculum aligned with Maine State Standards
• Support students' social, emotional, and academic growth
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement effective lessons
• Build strong relationships with students and families

Requirements

• Must hold valid CHRC Certification from the ME Dept. of Education
