Grad Pharmacist

About the role

We are seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in a retail pharmacy setting, applying theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Apply didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice
• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation
• Support pharmacy teams in ensuring smooth operations and patient care
• Assist with patient safety and error prevention
• Contribute to positive patient experiences through empathy and care
• Take on greater accountability as tenure and readiness increase
• Support additional patient health care services, including immunizations

Requirements

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and focus to concentrate on tasks over a period of time
• Active listening to give full attention to what others are saying
• Mathematical reasoning to solve problems, such as determining the total number of tablets to dispense
• Problem resolution to identify and address challenging patient or colleague interactions
• Physical demands to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time

Qualifications

• Ability to work in home store and across the market in other locations to meet business needs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
