Responsibilities
- Determine if external resources are needed for modeling
- Research and secure external resources
- Review third-party models for accuracy
- Work as liaison between model company and field
- Install GPS equipment on machinery
- Perform CAD 3D modeling for smaller projects
- Load model specifications onto equipment
- Troubleshoot modeling issues
- Research survey equipment options
- Maintain equipment tracking system
- Project site orientation and verification of control
- Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and as-built surveys
- Perform various additional survey tasks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field
- A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
- 5 years of survey experience, preferably in the construction industry
- Desired experience with using drones for surveying applications
- Previous Trimble, AutoCAD and AgTek experience preferred
- Knowledge of geological description principles and methods
- Knowledge of applicable laws, legal codes, and government regulations
- Experience with using Total Station
- Precise attention to details and exceptionally organized
- Technical savvy
- Thrives in fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
