Government Relations Intern

About the role

Our site in Billerica, MA is seeking a Government Relations co‑Op to join our Law Department team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. In this role, you will work with the Government Relations team on projects impacting (1) Entegris’ reputation with policymakers; (2) legislation and regulations affecting our operations; and (3) efforts to secure incentives for capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Summarize legislation and regulations and put into memo form
• Create bios and other briefing materials in advance of meetings with policymakers
• Work on strategy to secure positive outcomes in policy or financial objectives
• As necessary, work with other parts of the Law Department on IP and Trade Compliance

Requirements

• Interest in state and federal US politics, legislative and regulatory process
• BA or pursuit of a degree in criminal justice, government, political science, or a related field
• Must be a currently enrolled student
• Familiar with your university’s requirements to participate in a co‑op program

Schedule

Position runs for approximately 6 months (Spring 2027), requiring 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m., beginning in January and continuing through June.

Pay

Compensation: $20–30 per hour, with actual pay based on overall candidate qualifications for the role.
