About the Role

As a Government Property Asset Specialist at Raytheon, you will contribute to a fast-paced innovative team and work closely with Property and Logistics functional management, Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), suppliers, contracts, and other functions that support the Raytheon property system. You will collaborate to develop and implement tactical goals, influence system solutions, facilitate forward-thinking initiatives, streamline processes, and incorporate best-in-class solutions for customer and enterprise requirements.

This role administers and maintains aspects of the Property Management System, supporting multiple property lifecycle areas such as acquisition, receiving, identification, utilization, maintenance, inventory, subcontractor control, relief of stewardship, or contract closure.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for all matters concerning management of assets, including Special Test Equipment, Equipment, Special Tooling, and Material.
  • Demonstrate effective communication and strong professional behaviors consistently.
  • Deliver training and awareness materials tailored to audiences such as program leadership, engineering, lab management, and other functional organizations.
  • Support a culture of improvement and efficiency within the Logistics/Property organization by driving innovative solutions and affordability.
  • Participate in initiatives to elevate the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations and internal/external audit protocols.
  • Take action based on metrics that drive or affect the property system.
  • Maintain daily interaction with other teams, programs, and Business Units to meet organizational goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate for continuous learning and sharing within the organization to raise business and property acumen.
  • Work with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), Asset teams, and customers (internal/external) to support audits and build proactive relationships for select programs.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Experience in Government Property Asset Management, Property, Operations, and/or Supply Chain.
  • Experience in government property and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) compliance areas.
  • Active and transferable Secret clearance level required at the time of application.
  • Ability to obtain Top Secret or higher clearance level or program access prior to the start date.

Preferred Qualifications

  • National Property Management Association (NPMA) Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS) certification or ability to obtain within 2 years of employment.
  • Experience with Special Program Access, cPDM, and Property systems (e.g., SPS).
  • Experience with Office 365, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with database architecture and management.
  • Experience with Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), disclosure statements, and Sarbanes-Oxley.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $86,800 – $165,200 USD. The range provided is a good-faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
