About the Role
Join EY’s Government & Public Sector practice and help build a better working world by delivering real change and measurable results for federal, state, local, and education clients. As part of the Service Delivery Center and Digital Engineering practice, you’ll collaborate with diverse, high-performing teams to solve complex problems through purpose-led digital transformation. This role involves advising U.S. government agencies on digital strategy, customer experience, process improvement, technology effectiveness, digital architecture, and program integration.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring the final product meets their needs.
- Design and develop user interfaces that are functional and enhance user experience.
- Write clean, maintainable code and create specifications that support business objectives.
- Actively participate in the design of software components and translate requirements into technical design and tasks.
- Interact and communicate effectively with teammates, clients, stakeholders, and executives.
- Provide estimates on assigned tasks and independently write quality code that is simple, reliable, and scalable.
- Analyze and fix moderate to complex problems during development and support.
- Document and communicate results appropriately.
- Participate in white-boarding sessions, impact analysis, and explore methods to improve the development process.
- Learn new client information quickly, including data modeling, process modeling, and revision control systems.
- Support firm-wide initiatives, including recruiting events, training programs, and internal activities.
- Understand and follow all workplace policies and procedures, including independence policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Extensive knowledge of C#, SQL, JavaScript, and HTML.
- Experience with JavaScript UI frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Experience integrating with external systems.
- Strong understanding of agile delivery and development methodologies.
- Proficiency in application development tools and quality assurance practices.
Skills
- Experience gathering and analyzing requirements.

Pay
The base salary range for this job in most U.S. geographic locations is $61,200 to $100,500. For New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento), the range is $73,100 to $113,500. Individual salaries are determined by factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
Schedule
Consistent with EY’s collaborative working model, the role expects 60% in-person engagement in support of effective teaming and delivery, subject to client and business requirements.
