What's the Job?

  • Cook up logistics for public meetings, such as crafting agendas and putting together meeting packets.
  • Help set up audiovisual equipment, configure rooms, and test tech to make sure meetings run smoothly.
  • Prepare, format, and distribute meeting materials, keeping track of deadlines and coordinating submissions.
  • Act as a backup to the Board Liaison, assisting with governance documents and communications.
  • Attend governance meetings to accurately document minutes and produce detailed summaries.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications like Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
  • Experience offering technical support for meetings and events.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines under stress.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in an office setting for 8 hours a day and travel within Sacramento as needed.
