Governance, Risk, and Compliance Manager (IT)

About the role

The IT Manager will oversee the GRC Services team, focusing on IT Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Compliance Monitoring, SOC Reporting, and IT Internal Audits. This role involves managing multiple concurrent engagements, supervising teams of Associates and Senior Associates, and ensuring engagement objectives are met.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of engagement objectives for multiple concurrent engagements
• Supervise teams of Associates and Senior Associates
• Manage engagement economics and provide proactive and timely communication
• Meet client expectations to drive successful completion of engagement objectives
• Travel based on client needs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in public accounting with an active professional license (CPA, CISA and/or CISSP)
• Advanced knowledge and experience with Sarbanes Oxley 404a and 404b testing and review procedures, SOC guides, GAAP, and IIA standards
• IT general controls, applications, system infrastructure, network layer, and security configurations
• COBIT, COSO, ISO, NIST and related frameworks
• Experience supervising Associates and Senior Associates

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or further certifications/education in information systems is preferred
• Experience with GRC tools including Fieldguide, AuditBoard, or other similar platforms
• Experience with Oracle ERP, Dynamics365, SAP and/or NetSuite products
• Experience serving as a people manager, including training, mentoring, and developing junior team members

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
