Governance Professional (9 hours per week)
About the role
We have a rare opportunity for an organised and professional individual to join our Core Services (“trust HQ”) team and play a key role in supporting governance across three of our local primary schools. This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in our local community by supporting school leaders and governors to achieve the best possible outcomes for our pupils. You will have the opportunity to develop specialist school governance knowledge and gain valuable insight into school leadership and strategic decision‑making. Full training is provided and, if you are interested, we also offer the option of undertaking a fully funded Level 3 governance clerking qualification. You will be working in close partnership with our Headteachers and governors (known at Twynham Learning as “School Ambassadors”), and you’ll be part of our friendly and welcoming Core Services team. The base location is the Twynham Learning Core Services office, co‑located with The Grange School, Christchurch, Dorset, BH23 3AU. Attendance at meetings at schools in our local area will be required; outside of the meetings themselves, most duties can be performed remotely. Reports to the Governance Manager.
