Google Data Engineer
About the role
Slalom is a consulting company that helps clients transform their businesses through technology. The Google Center of Excellence (COE) within Slalom focuses on integrating intelligence into products and building innovative data products. As a Data Engineer in this COE, you will work on designing, building, and modernizing enterprise data platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and modernize enterprise data platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Deliver solutions using BigQuery, Dataplex, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Vertex AI, Looker, and other Google Cloud services
- Help clients migrate and modernize data estates
- Implement real-time and batch pipelines
- Enable governed analytics
- Accelerate AI-ready data foundations
- Work in a hybrid environment, with expectation to be in-person with Slalom teams and clients as needed

Pay
The base salary pay range is $100,000 - $115,000 for Consultant, depending on experience. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
Schedule
You will work in a hybrid environment, with expectation to be in-person with Slalom teams and clients as needed.
